Powdery mildew disease
Causal organism= Blumeria graminis f. sp. Tritic
Symptoms =
a) White, powdery patches on the upper surface of leaves and stem.
b) Greyish white powdery growth on the leaf, sheath, stem and floral parts.
c) Small, dark fungal fruiting structures on wheat leaf.
d) Black lesion and drying of leaves and other parts.
Favourable condition=
Temperature= 15-25 degree
Relative humidity= 85-100%
Disease Cycle =
Perennation= through soil, weed host, plant debris
Primary infection= through ascospores from perennating cleistothecia
Secondary infection= through air-borne conidia

Cultural method:
a) Proper field sanitation application apply in field.
b) Proper tillage application apply in field.
c) Proper weed management application applies in field.
d) Remove all infarcted part of the plant.
e) Use disease registrant varieties.
f) Proper spacing maintain between row to row and plant to plant
g) Proper drained facility available in filed area.
h) Proper light or ventilation maintain in the field.
Biological method=
Use biological fungicides are commercially used.
